Greenwood Village Police Department
Phase 3 & 4

A two phased project to complete the restoration of 14,055 square feet of lower lever police department and finance department originally built in the early 1980’s.
Phase 3A was to update the police department to the 21stcentury. The work included updating the police officer’s locker rooms and bathrooms, a bullpen for working officers, a new breakroom and kitchen, a role call room for meetings and private sergeant offices for senior staff officers.
Upon completion, Phase 3B included the lower-level finance department consisting of renovating 10 offices, conference rooms, a large open work area to accommodate 12 work and meeting stations, a fitness facility, two public bathrooms, two locker rooms, a new kitchen and breakroom.
After the successful completion of Phase 3, the City of Greenwood Village awarded our company Phase 4, unsolicited, with the caveat wson Construction put this phase out to subcontractors for competitive pricing. The 22,304 square foot project was divided into multiple phases to accommodate working City staff in City Hall.
Phase 4A was a complete renovation of the detective’s department, police chief’s and supporting staff offices, jail cells and booking, Salley port and armory and the Courts Clerk’s Office.
Phase 4B was the complete renovation of the City Planning and Development offices which included two kitchens, huddles rooms and 14 private offices and an open area to accommodate 19 work stations. Phase 4C was the renovation of the City Hall main entrance atrium and grand stairway. Phase 4D was the renovation of the City Manager’s Office, Mayor’s office, City Attorney’s offices and supporting staff offices.
South Adams Fire Department
The construction of a new 5000 square foot fire station. This wood framed and CMU structure contains dorm rooms, a kitchen, an office, and recreational areas for the firemen.
The exterior is a combination of brick and precast stone, which won a best of design award in 2010.
The large fire station bay stores the fire trucks and equipment. The scope of work included, site development through building construction, interior finishes and landscaping.
